Lady comes vet checked in foal with a live foal guarantee. She is registered a bay Tobiano but I consider her a tri-color because of several  black areas on her. I saw her black and white Tobiano colt from last year  and that makes me positive she'll throw a black and white to Leonardo. She will make an excellent dressage prospect with her ground covering, flat kneed movement. I purchased her as a dead broke trail horse, she isn't. She does fine in the ring by herself and will follow other horses anywhere but when you ride her by herself she gets edgy. I know it's just a practice issue but I don't have the time. However, she is sweet, calm and gentle, so it shouldn't be any problem. She sells for $4,500. Lady_2.jpg (22650 bytes)Lady 7.jpg (16492 bytes)

My Sweet Judy Blue Eyes.jpg (21689 bytes)Judy 1.jpg (19906 bytes)Judy 3.jpg (12885 bytes)   Finally yet importantly, is her personality.  She is smart, kind and brave.  Every foal she has had for me is the same way.  A pocket pal when they are babies and a willing partner when they get older.  I know if I asked Judy to go through fire for me, she would say; “okay, Mom, let’s go, I trust you”.  She's the best lead mare I’ve ever known or heard of for that matter.  She is very fair, but rules with an iron hoof.  She will not tolerate fighting in the herd.  She will let a squabble go, but when the teeth and hooves start flying, Judy, is always right there to break it up.  No dogs or pests come in my pasture after the babies, Judy just will not back down.  My neighbors have beautiful Golden Retrievers, kind gentle dogs but when five are running in a pack, they can be dangerous.  Before Judy, they shredded the hips of one of my babies.  No more, they came in once and in 30 seconds, Judy had them running for their lives.  Never had to worry about dogs or coyotes again.  Unfortunately, she had a terrible injury to her hind leg due to her protectiveness. A dummy (I’m not naming any names) put up high tensile fence along the road, never realizing they call it the horse shredder for a reason.  My neighbor decided to ride his 3-year-old stud past; the same day I put Judy out for the first time with her foal.  He lost control, the stud tried to crash thru the fence and Judy was right there, hind legs blazing.  She backed him back thru the fence but cut her leg right at the hock joint to the bone.  I thought she was ruined for life.  Do you know, she never once even limped with it?  This year’s baby is a fabulous, black, stud quality colt.  You can see his full brother"Jonas" on www.evereventer.com
Sweet Judy Blue Eyes

This beautiful, white mare is an incredibly well bred Quarter Horse, although, because of her coloring, she is registered Paint.  Her entire pedigree is World and National Halter Champions.  She has absolutely no “Impressive” in her bloodlines.  In fact, her Grandsire, the great “Redeemer” is the only stallion to take the World Championships from “Impressive”.  Like all my mares, she has a very short pedigree; her parents and grandparents are the champions not a dozen generations away.  I chose Judy as a broodmare for several reasons.  The first is the fact, her conformation is flawless.  It is hard to see on pictures, but everything is just so correct and balanced.  The second is her movement; she floats on air, covers the ground in a big, sweeping manner and moves straight in all gaits.  The third reason is her baroque body shape.  If you want to breed athletic, crossbreds that look like Friesians you must start with a mare that has the Friesian body characteristics.  You can still find Paints and Quarter Horses with this baroque body type but they will usually be from Foundation Bloodlines. The reason for this is that they have a lot more of the Spanish blood, just like the Friesian.  I am fortunate enough to have found two.

I’m selling them as the “Ultimate Riding Machine”.  I intend to raise two, so when I retire, I will still be riding a spectacular “Friesian” but it will be gaited to boot!  All my crosses have looked like purebred Friesians but gaited like a Peruvian.  This is because the Peruvian bloodlines are said to be a cross between the Andalusian and Friesian.  Although the Europeans went for refining the trotting horse, the Peruvians went for refining the gaited horse.  You can read about it in “The Peruvian Paso and His Classic Equitation” by Verne Albright, a man that has dedicated his life to researching and preserving this incredible gaited  horse.  Hoya Del Fuego (Ruby, as we call her), is only l4.2 but all her babies have reached l5 hands by two years old and her two colts are l5.3 and l6 hands.  If you like lots and lots of mane and tail, these horses are it.  Ruby has even more mane and tail than my purebred Friesians!  All these foals are eligible for “Foundation” breeding stock in the “Gaited Baroque Horse Association”.

HOYA DEL FUEGO(Ruby)

What can I say about this wonderful horse?  Again, look at her pedigree.  Almost the entire thing is WORLD CHAMPIONS!  She is a gaiting machine.  To date, all of her babies have had her best gait, the “Paso llano”, although they can do dressage with the best of them.  One of her babies is “Storm” he is being used as a High School Exhibition Horse.  Mark(his owner) does not care that he gaits, he says he has the most ability to collect and get under himself that he’s ever seen and Mark used to ride exclusively Andalusians.

SPIKE’S WAR ECHO

This big, beautiful paint mare has perfect confirmation and moves like a dream but her best trait is her unique, loving personality.  This mare acts like all fire but is the calmest gentlest mare you can imagine.  I’ve only seen her upset a couple of times in her life.  She’s round and baroque and threw me the most beautiful black and white, perfect filly I’ve ever seen.  My stallion has a great personality too ,but her baby this year, has Echo’s personality to a tee.  In fact, she’s a pest.  You can’t make noises that spook her when she is with Echo because Echo doesn’t scare easily and Cree figures if “mom’s” not scared, I’m not going to be either.  Her first foal for me was a  Pintabian and has the same mind.  The woman who bought her can’t believe she has the looks of a purebred Arabian (she’s black and white) and the calm personality she has.   Echo is a line bred Robin mare.  Like all my other mares, she has a very short pedigree and is not 12 generations away from the greats but her sires and dams and grandsires and dams are the Champions.  Look at her pedigree to see a “who’s who” of performance Paints  and Quarter Horses.

 Flaudy’s Tenasee

What can I say about Tenny, she is a l6 hand, all black DIRECT daughter of the “Tennessee Stud”, Aduceus Nakai.  Yes, and she is just as perfect. She looks like a very large Lippett type horse. She has perfect conformation, an arched neck that ties in perfectly to her shoulder and a beautiful head.  She has had 2 fillies and l colt for me and they have all been stunning. Her foals are under agreement with Chris and Cindy Marro of Warrior’s Crossing.  Chris and Cindy are wonderful horse people and the East Coast Reps for the Moriesian Horse Association.  As well as saddle horses, they are building a team for Competition and Cross Country Driving.  This year’s foal will complete the agreement and they will have a 4-horse team to die for.
